Our Sailing Vessel
"The wonder is always new that any sane man can be a sailor." ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Amel Santorin N°090
We chose an Amel sailing vessel for our travels. These older boats may not be the fastest sailing vessels around, and ours definitely hasn't the most modern design, but these ships are amongst the safest ever built. We were lucky enough to pick up the Santorin model with hull N°090 in 2022. The ship has many special features on board to make life on the water comfortable and safe. A well equipped galley allows us to keep up morale at top levels, and with enough storage space to hold many months of food and water, going off the grid could very well become the norm. There are two cabins with each three berths and en suite bathrooms. Furthermore, she has all kinds of safety equipment, fallback systems and no less than six watertight bulkheads, again for safety reasons. This design, particularly set up for sailing couples or households, allows us to travel anywhere we want to go, safely and comfortably. We're constantly working on our sailboat to make her the best home on the water we can imagine and look forward to see you visit us one day.

Only a few fully understand all the depths of their ship and its surroundings.
